Community Garden Composting Bin Workshop - 2nd Rain Delay

We are fairing worse than the Twins here as we were rained out for a second time. We will post the date when we have rescheduled. PCCC has received a grant through Hennepin County Green Partners to hold a bin building workshop run by the Compostadores.

The Compostadores bring pallets, wire, wood and tools to your garden and works with your garden group to build a pallet compost bin. Invite the neighbors! This is a hands-on 2 1/2 hour workshop for all ages that gets everyone busy constructing the bin and exploring compost. We use the Growing Power method of bin construction (with some tweaks of our own), utilizing salvageable materials to build simple, static, "no-turn" 4' x 4' bins in community gardens.
